List by top10Video Nasties were a collection of 72 movies that the United Kingdom decided to ban in 1982. Most of the films were low budget horror flicks from the United States and Italy. Some popular and critically acclaimed films, like the Evil Dead, even ended up on the list. Most of the films contained graphic violence and horror that censors at the time didn’t want to be put onto cassette tape.
