In the South Korean Train to Busan Seok-woo is a divorced workaholic and absent father who plans on taking his daughter to see her mother in Busan for the former’s birthday. On the train is a diverse group of people including the working-class Sang-hwa and his pregnant wife, a young baseball team, and an egotistical COO. When a zombie virus breaks out and one of the infected is aboard the sickness quickly spread and creates havoc as Seok-woo must protect his daughter from harm on a train hurtling towards a hopefully quarantine zone. He will eventually sacrifice everything so that she can survive, having realized she is the most precious thing he has.
