It's about more people who steal more of Lep's gold, setting off one more gold chasing killing spree.

Leprechaun 6: Back 2 tha Hood was directed by Steven Ayromlooi and stars Warwick Davis (from Leprechaun 5: In The Hood, Leprechaun 4: In Space, Leprechaun 3, Leprechaun 2 and Leprechaun), Tangi Miller and Laz Alonso (from TraffikStraw Dogs and Captivity).

Evil has a whole new rap!

Leprechaun 6: Back 2 tha Hood Review

This is the last Leprechaun movie starring the always excellent Warwick Davis and the very first Leprechaun movie that actually went the serious horror route. Gone is the goofiness, the witty one-liners and the hot zombie fly girls. This Leprechaun is all about horror... well, except for all the weed smoking. But the weed smoking is literally the only connection between this movie and the previous Leprechaun in the Hood. They had to pick something I guess, just an odd choice to go with the weed since this movie is serious in every other way.

In Lep in the Hood a guy stumbles onto a pot of gold stashed in an old building. In Lep Back 2 tha Hood a woman stumbles onto a pot of gold stashed in a basement. She shares the gold with her friends and they all use it as a way to pull themselves out of the struggle, or at least that's what they planned on. Before long they spend all the loot on clothes, jewels and weed. Lep wakes up, figures out what happened and freaks out.

Lep has new threads in this one, a much nicer leprechaun outfit that's more gothic than cliche. He's also way more brutal. Instead of playing with his prey he slashes and dismembers. This one has more gore than all previous lep movies combined. I really liked how they turned the corner on this one, they just picked an odd time to do it.

"Lep in the hood, out to do no good."

Worth Watching?

I want to say it is, just because it's the first leprechaun movie that's actually a horror. But at the same time it's also long and slow and suffers from very low production value.
