It’s about a young hacker who becomes obsessed with an internet celebrity serial killer and subsequently becomes an accomplice to his murderous activities.

An internet inspired serial killer horror that wants to be a combination of feardotcom with elements of The Woman and I Spit On Your Grave. Kill Teaser was directed by Mb X. McClain and stars Tobee Paik, Laurie Riihimaki, Charlie Liao and Will Wood among others.

There are many more games to play.

Kill Teaser Review

Right, I’m going to put this up front and center, I hated this film. It is terrible in so many ways that I can’t even begin to list them…. but I’m going to try. Are you sitting comfortably? then I’ll begin.

Firstly, the acting in this film is beyond terrible. It’s as if someone has filmed a high school movie project, slapped a title on it and tried to release it as an actual film. Stilted line delivery, wooden performances (with the exception of Will Wood who is the only positive in this) and an utterly nonsensical plot all combine to bore and anger the viewer, an interesting achievement at least.

The plot and script make absolutely ZERO sense. There are scenes where this notorious serial killer (who wears an ostentatious mask that is clearly ripped from Greg Capullo’s Batman robo-batsuit) sits and has conversations in a diner in plain view of other people and no one bats an eyelid, this movie isn’t clever enough for foreshadowing and subtle hints that the conversations are in someone’s mind.

Oh, and that mask? It’s set up to distort the voice of the wearer, but it’s done to such an extent that there are multiple points where you can’t actually understand what the villain of the piece is saying… although it’s probably not worth hearing anyway.

There is also a nasty vein of mild homophobia and outright misogyny running through the film, rape is dismissed as the woman not being confident or sure enough and a bisexual character is a complete & utter stereotype.

The effects, both blood and visual, are completely unconvincing, even to one point jumping to blood splatter on the screen, which does not fit with the rest of the film, neither does the major effects moment, which is so poor that I genuinely laughed out loud.

I honestly could go on and on about how bad this film is but I think it’s better just to cut to the chase….

Worth Watching?

ABSOLUTELY, 100% NOT! Amateurish and embarrassing at best, pretentious and boring at worst. It doesn’t quite get into my bottom 10 worst films of all time…. But it’s pretty close!
