Hammer Horror
List by penguin_peteHammer Film Productions was a British producer influential in creating Gothic horror films from the 1950s through the 1970s. They established a big chunk of what we consider classic horror today, including launching the careers of Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Oliver Reed, and canonizing our modern idea of Dracula. Hammer has been revived in recent years. Kate Bush even did a song in tribute, "Hammer Horror," in 2011 on her "Lionheart" album.
