Two members of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah and RZA, have a horror movie in the works, according to Deadline. Angel of Dust will be based on true events that happened to members of their group growing up in the Staten Island Projects - but with a supernatural twist.

A serial killer on the loose with seemingly paranormal abilities will be the antagonist in the film. Ghostface Killah came up with the concept with his manager Caruso, and the script will be penned by Matt Leslie and Stephen J. Smith. Ghostface Killah and RZA will produce, and RZA will direct.

No word on if they’ll star, but both members have been in front of the camera before; Ghostface Killah was in an episode of Luke Cage last year, and RZA’s most notable role was as Moses in American Gangster. RZA is no stranger to horror; he executive produced Thriller last year, and his song 1-800-Suicide with Gravediggaz was used in Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight for the cyanide segment back in 1995.

“It’s hard to fathom a better way to celebrate the Wu-Tang Clan’s 25th anniversary as rock and rap creative icons than producing a cutting-edge suspense thriller loosely based on true events that though terrifying helped shape one of the greatest groups of all time. The writers, Leslie and Smith have taken this original idea to seismic levels,” said Shaun Redick, who will serve as a producer.

Perhaps most exciting of all is that Ghostface Killah & RZA plan to create a new soundtrack for the film, and RZA is set to create the score.
