The Autopsy of Jane Doe Soundtrack Is Coming to Vinyl

If you fell madly in love with The Autopsy of Jane Doe when it debuted back in 2016, you’re definitely not alone. Millions celebrated the film for its incredible performances and stellar writing. However, it was the film’s dark, menacing ambience that really set it apart from the rest of the pack – an ambience due in part to its haunting score.

Written by Saunder Jurriaans and Danny Bensi, the Jane Doe score is genuinely scary, tense, and dark. Peaceful listening it’s not, but as so many horror soundtrack lovers can confirm, horror soundtracks like this one are wonderful for intentionally creating a certain atmosphere as needed or desired. Now fans of the film can add the Autopsy of Jane Doe soundtrack on vinyl to their growing collection.

Jane Doe vinyl packageOf course, half the fun of opting for vinyl is checking out the packaging and Jane Doe hardly disappoints. Designed by Jay Shaw, Jane Doe’s packaging is meant to echo a bit of the film’s genuinely chilling plotline and dynamic. It features a color scheme that includes red and blue veins encircling the titular character’s heart. It’s also put together as a triple foldout piece, so it’s hard not to feel like you’re performing something of a dissection yourself as you make your way through the layers to the actual record. The entire masterpiece even comes in its own body bag!

If you’re interested, be sure to snag your copy as soon as possible when the soundtrack goes on sale December 19th. (Shipping will start in January of 2019.) This special edition packaging will be strictly limited to only 700 copies and each customer will be allowed only one. And of course, if you haven’t yet, you definitely need to check out The Autopsy of Jane Doe on Blu-Ray and streaming!
