As horror fans, we all appreciate reprieve from the intensity once in a while. When horror comedies like Shaun of the Dead or Tucker and Dale vs. Evil come around, we're first in line to check out the hysterical homage to our favorite genre. In that same vein, get ready for writer/director Gregory Blair's raunchy slasher spoof Garden Party Massacre, starring horror actor Andy Gates, which becomes available March 12, 2019.

The film is being released through SGL Entertainment. This is the second multiple award-winning film from Blair, who also directed the slow-burn psychological thriller Deadly Revisions through SGL.

Slapstick comedy meets murder in this fun indie film, which begins with a backyard party that goes awry as an unexpected guest arrives with an axe to grind. (See what I did there?) Chaos ensues. The film promises as much blood and gore as there are laughs as the party guests fight for survival.

Garden Party Massacre took home over a dozen awards on the festival circuit this year. Accolades include five "Best Ensemble" awards as well as “Best Feature” (FANtastic Horror Film Festival), “Outstanding Horror Comedy” (Zed Fest Film Festival), “Best Film” (Lucky Strike Film Festival), “Outstanding Horror/Comedy Feature” (Los Angeles Academy of Film Awards), “Best Narrative Feature: Comedy” (Hollywood Independent Filmmaker Award) and “Best Comedy” (Artists and Aliens Film Festival).

Garden Party Massacre is a PIX/SEE Productions film and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD for a limited time, then will become available on multiple streaming platforms, including Comcast, Hulu, iTunes, Amazon Prime, and Google Play. Pre-orders can be purchased here. Visit the Garden Party Massacre website for more information.
