Who says horror movie season has to stop with Halloween? October 2018 may be a thing of the past, but true horror fans like to keep that spooky spirit going all year round and Christmas-themed holiday movies (like Black Christmas, Better Watch Out, and Rare Exports) definitely make it simple. This year, there are quite a few new productions to keep an eye out for, but one of the ones we’re most excited about is definitely All the Creatures Were Stirring .

Creatures is the brainchild of husband and wife team, David Ian McKendry and Rebekah McKendry . (They wrote, produced, and directed the film.) A fabulous ensemble cast list includes Constance Wu, Jonathan Kite, and scream queen Jocelin Donahue ( The House of the Devil, Insidious: Chapter 2). We’ve also received official word that Creatures is scheduled for a December 4th release to DVD and Digital – just in time to secure it a spot (or two) on your holiday viewing schedule!

All the Creatures Were Stirring opens on a rather awkward Christmas Eve date that leads an unwitting couple to a strange movie theater. What’s on the viewing menu for their evening? An eclectic collection of strange and terrifying Christmas stories that promise one wild ride after another. From immortal demons, to last-minute shopping trips gone horribly awry, to bone-chilling stalkers lurking in the shadows, this is one horrifying multi-feature that has it all.

We don’t know about you, but we personally love a good holiday-themed anthology film and All the Creatures Were Stirring will definitely be part of our holiday viewing repertoire. Catch it yourself when it comes your way December 4th. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out the official preview for a sweet holiday taste of what you have to look forward to.
