Who doesn’t love the nostalgia of a horror film on VHS? Fortunately for fans of the old media, a new slasher is available on an old format. Beginning March 29th, Terrifier will be available on VHS.

Broke Horror Fan has teamed up with Witter Entertainment to follow this new trend of putting current horror films onto VHS tapes. They kicked off the new (old) format with Adam Green’s Victor Crowley (also known as Hatchet IV) from Dark Sky Films. Now, Damien Leone’s 2017 clown slasher favorite Terrifier is also available via

There are two cover photos to choose from, and each copy comes with a letter from Leone. The film features an exclusive introduction by Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton, and includes special features after the movie. The film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame for optimal viewing. The release is officially licensed from Dread and Epic Pictures.

We’re loving that the VHS trend is having a resurgence; there’s something that makes horror just a little bit scarier while watching it the old way (The Ring, anyone?). Sound off in the comments - what modern horror would you like to see on VHS?
