Freddy Krueger To Return For Cameo In TV Sitcom The Goldbergs

Geez, another Freddy post? We just had one last week. It’s... It’s like... a recurring Nightmare or something... why can’t we wake up?

But alright, it’s nothing to get too excited about, but Robert Englund himself is pullin’ the ol’ claw back on and donning his iconic makeup for a one-shot guest role on the TV sitcom The Goldbergs. It’s supposed to be one last twinkly wink for Englund’s Fredhead fanbase, not a full-fledged event.

The very last time Robert Englund made a curtain call as Freddy was Freddy vs. Jason, about 15 years ago, and that effort kinda left fans cold on the deck. Englund reminds us he’s not getting any younger, with his diabolical days far behind him.
