If you’ve got a horror short or feature film that you’re looking to shop out to festivals, the Rock Horror in Rio Film Festival wants you to submit it for consideration at their festival in Brazil. Submissions are being accepted until March 1st, 2019.

The festival is a competition, but it’s also a party - and last year’s festival lasted for five days. Round tables are also held with invited industry professionals. Films in the horror, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, and animation genres will be considered. After screenings, rock bands will play a set while fans and filmmakers mingle.

A Halloween themed pajama party is held for feature screenings, which will be held at two Reserva Cultural entertainment complexes in Niterói and São Paulo. The date of the festival will be announced after all submissions are in.

Multiple entries are allowed for consideration, but be sure to submit each film separately. To submit your film or to learn more about the festival, visit the Rock Horror in Rio Film Festival website.
