Paranormal favorite The Conjuring franchise’s spinoff Annabelle is getting a new release date for its third installment. Originally Annabelle 3 was to be released on July 3rd of this year, but according to THR, Warner Brothers moved the release up to June 28th.
Gary Dauberman, who worked on the previous two Annabelle films as well as It and The Nun as a writer, will make his directorial debut in the third. This installment will have a larger crossover within The Conjuring universe as we see how the Annabelle doll escapes from the room of haunted items that Ed and Lorraine Warren keep under lock and key in their home.
Along with Annabelle 3, Warner Brothers also moved up the release date for Godzilla vs. Kong, now due out on March 13th 2020. The Conjuring 3 is in pre-production, with an anticipated release date in fall of next year.
