What would summer be without a few over-the-top shark attack films to make you think twice about going back in the water? If seeing The Meg last week when it hit your local theater left you hungry for more terrifying fish stories, you’ll definitely want to catch 6-Headed Shark Attack when it premieres this Saturday on SyFy.
In fact, if you’d like to make an entire shark-themed evening of the premiere, SyFy’s making it possible for you to do that too. In the hours leading up to the big event, the network will be airing 2-Headed Shark Attack, 3-Headed Shark Attack, and 5-Headed Shark Attack as well, so start planning your aquatic creature feature-themed get-togethers now.
Fans of the multi-headed shark attack films will be pleased to know that 6-Headed Shark Attack definitely won’t disappoint when it comes to cheesy, campy, over-the-top action. The plotline will transport viewers to a remote island for a marriage boot camp. However, the unlucky couples definitely get more than they bargained for when they wind up fighting off a 6-headed shark attach instead, especially since they only have limited ways to defend themselves at their disposal.
Director Mark Atkins had this to say about what loyal shark attack fans can expect when they tune in this August 18 at 9PM EST. “We pulled out all the stops on this movie, it is going to be over-the-top and bloody as hell. We tried to push the action, humor, and insanity to the next level.”
The premiere of 6-Headed Shark Attack is part of Syfy’s fifth annual “Sharknado Week”, an event fans of campy shark movies are no doubt looking forward to. The final film in the Sharknado franchise, The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time will end the event with a bang when it premieres Sunday, August 19th, so don’t forget to tune in for that one too!
