Unfriended is not so much an indictment of internet culture or the titans of social media as it is a comment on how we use the connectivity available to us and how not thinking about the effects of bullying could wind up coming back to haunt you.
Unfriended is a good, albeit depressing, film. If it’s not aware, that may be even more frightening.
Unfriended will lead some viewers to wonder where these teens' families are (as the dire late-night circumstances go down, they all appear to be home alone).
