If La pasajera works and is fun, it is because the references are not imposed, they are there without suffocating the story.
The Passenger, in short, passes the test of being funny precisely thanks to that quartet of protagonists, where they end up dying in an order that one expects but at least they each have their moment of glory and of being unique.

Unfortunately, good intentions are not very reflected in the result . Limiting the action almost entirely to the van and its perimeter greatly shortens the adventure flights and does not achieve too much intensity in the tension.
