The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre is a glorious and bloody main eventer. Chris Margetis and Mike Carey are the heart and soul of this flick, and I found myself fully engaged with these characters to the point where I would watch an entire series on them.
A fun and blood romp The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre is an hour and a half of fun. It’s also, along with the very different Zomblogalypse, the second good zom-com I’ve seen in a matter of days. Maybe the walking dead aren’t as played out as I thought.
With Dan Levitan as visual effects supervisor, The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre crüe manages to stretch their minimal dollars and come up with some decent zombie gore. [...] It’s still a low-budget production, but as a schlocky grindhouse zombie flick it works.
