The Loved Ones is perhaps the worst film you could watch with your date on prom night. However, if you’re in the mood for something a bit different this October I think this is one film that you should definitely take to the dance.
The gore was aplenty, a maniacal bloodstream bleeding constantly through the screen. The torture scenes were gut-wrenching and physically made me say ‘oooh’ as I cringed further back into my chair holding my feet..All said I couldn’t recommend it more, there’s gore, there’s tragedy and there’s a surprising amount of talent.
In a way, The Loves One, is like an extended version of the classic dinner scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
