Summary

A team consisting of a physicist, his wife, a young female psychic and the only survivor of the previous visit are sent to the notorious Hell House to prove/disprove survival after death. Previous visitors have either been killed or gone mad, and it is up to the team to survive a full week in isolation, and solve the mystery of the Hell House.

What to Expect

The Legend of Hell House is a cult classic from 1973 with a remarkable style among horror, especially for its era. There's this group of people who have to stay in a haunted manor for a week, a manor that is very clearly plagued by an evil and violent supernatural force. Thing is, this group of people aren't scared, at all. They're all there by assignment to rid the house of the supernatural entity using psychic, scientific and physical means. They're concerned for their safety, but they don't fear the supernatural. This movie is similar to The Conjuring, in which a psychic clears homes of the supernatural as well, but that character is constantly gripped with fear. She faces it, but is scared nonetheless.
