Overall, I would suggest giving The Hunting a viewing, there is no hammy looking werewolf, it’s all practical make-up and fits the narrative, in essence, it creates something which would be more of an authentic-looking creature in a modern-day setting.
...The Hunting is a badly flawed, but still watchable movie. It kept my attention up until the final reveals made me want to throw something at my monitor. And some people probably won’t have as much of a reaction as I did. Sadly, entirely too many people will probably think that it’s clever.
