Critic Reviews:

The Fair-Haired Child stays safe but satisfying; it not only retreads the aforementioned horror films, but it even recycles the “girl gets terrorized by a strange creature” motif that we saw in the first episode.

THE FAIR HAIRED CHILD was very enjoyable. It brought a lot of suspense and mystery with a satisfying conclusion. I highly recommend it.

The Fair Haired Child is without question one of the best episodes of Showtime’s Masters of Horror series. It’s visually arresting, has great characters, and best of all — sports one of the oddest and most terrifying beasties to grace the screen in quite some time.
