Summary

What to Expect

The plotline of The Babysitter: Killer Queen picks up with Cole (Lewis) two years after the horrific events of the previous film. Understandably, he’s still haunted by the experience of nearly being murdered by his babysitter and her friends. However, the only person in Cole’s life who doesn’t believe he’s gone entirely bananas is his friend Melanie (Emily Alyn Lind).

Even diehard fans of The Babysitter likely aren’t walking into the sequel expecting fine cinema, and that’s probably for the best. The Babysitter: Killer Queen isn’t trying to be anything it’s not. Like a lot of horror sequels, going bigger, bolder, bloodier, and crazier was the aim of this film, and it does accomplish that in some ways. However, it also gets a lot looser and harder to believe.
