Shite plot and atrocious ending aside (there are something like three different attempts at a twist in there, each one randomly ditched and replaced with another like an indecisive shopper trying on dresses), it’s horribly shot too.
Hollywood, and in this case the United Kingdom, has done far more to irreparably tarnish the name of Amityville than George Lutz would have ever dreamed possible.
So I admit I got suckered into this dog's breakfast by the word "Amityville" in the title, I deserved to be taken out and whipped to be honest. Clearly no recommendation, this movie is about on the level of real bad Student film making, avoid at all cost.
