While Cohen sets a tone that falls just short of outright mocking of his own film, the cast deliver several big laughs.
The Ambulance is fast paced. However, this does not fully carry it past Larry Cohen’s willingness to skip roughshod over an enormous number of plot holes and frank incredulities that weaken the film almost entirely.

In the end, it wasn’t quite what we hoped for but The Ambulance ended up being fantastic. Take out Eric Roberts and it’d be far less entertaining for sure but with him in this kind of form The Ambulance is an exceptionally fun ride..
