...it’s best to watch this movie without an expectation of a clear narrative. Enjoy the black and white, the nightmarish images, the hip techno music, and the genre-bending. While all the parts don’t congeal, there’s still some good eye candy.
That Cold Dead Look In Your Eyes is a multi-genre hybrid film that doesn’t answer the questions it puts forth and for good reason. Know that going into this mad, mad, conspiracy-minded comedy and you just might survive one of the trippiest French films to be released this year.
I can’t say I liked “That Cold Dead Look in Your Eyes.” Appreciated the attempt, sure. It’s a disintegration that isn’t viewed and considered at arm’s length.
