As for the surprising R rating (I thought for sure this would be a PG-13 deal), it’s well-earned, though if you’re hoping for lots of nudity you’re shit out of luck.
Sorority Row is a mostly unexciting slasher flick that spends far too much time trying to build tension to the next kill only for it to inevitably let you down.

The film itself is pretty treaded into Hollywood style horror formulas aimed at young adults. The reality is, there isn’t anything new here that you haven’t seen a ba-zillion times.
