Critic Reviews:
Brimming with exceptional performances, Son of Frankenstein is a powerful mystery thriller as well as a horror film, emulating the dark expressionist days of Caligari.
Son of Frankenstein manages to harness all the right ingredients to make it a worthy companion to its predecessors, whilst falling on the right side of drama and terror for its time.
As I said earlier, nostalgia might influence my opinion a bit, but Son of Frankenstein is my favorite in the entire Frankenstein series.
