Keena McRae’s Shot In The Dark is a visceral experience with a rural town haunted by a potential serial killer.
Shot in the Dark is a well put together film and at times was completely gripping, a strong score helped for this. Although the blood and gore is dingy and dirty, I was happier watching the lead deal with his life and this concludes in a satisfactory and compelling way.

This is a low-budget film, but not once did it look like any corners were cut. The unhurried nature of the project also gave them the time to really build the little community with beautifully written characters constructed from many assembled moments.
