From the outset, it’s patently obvious that Craven appears to be ruthlessly committed to recreating Freddy Krueger, going so far as to essentially replicate the opening scene of the first Nightmare.
..there is really no reason to watch this movie unless you are just a hardcore fan of Wes Craven.
