Summary

Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately, Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

What to Expect

Scream 4 starts on the anniversary of the original Woodsboro murders, 10 years prior... when it all starts happening again. And the similarities are obvious, Scream 4 is nearly a remake of Scream 1, in that the sequence of events as well as the characters almost mirror one another. But that's not to say it wasn't good. Scream 1 had originality on its side which made it memorable, but Scream 4 was by far the most entertaining. It takes everything you liked from the Scream franchise and injects it with crack. Scream 4 was definitely going for the big grand finale. There was way more gore than any other film in this franchise, there were too many movie references to count and the killer was by far the most insane and deranged.
