Yet, more than once Muse felt rather tame, holding back in certain scenes that would have been more effective if they went all-out gory and violent.
Muse has a lot it wants to say about the transmutable aspects of art driven by passion and acting out due to being driven mad. But its execution of those themes and ideas is lackluster in most respects.
