Leprechaun 2 starts a thousand years in the past, on his birthday. Apparently every thousandth bday he gets to pick a woman to be his bride. He uses magic to make her sneeze. On the third sneeze she has no choice but to hook up with him, it's a little bit noncon. The only thing that can save her is someone, anyone, yelling "bless you". He starts making some random woman sneeze, the leprechaun's slave yells "bless you", he kills the slave. Fast-forward a thousand years and it's his bday again, and he's on the hunt for another unlucky bride, in L.A. of all places.
