Overall, Christmas Blood is peppered with creative details and moments, but it’s a shame that the general setup isn’t all that original.
Christmas Blood is a solid slasher with some love behind it, and while stylish and bloody it doesn’t exactly soar to new heights…it’s wortha watch (or two), but won’t become a new, go-to staple.
Christmas eventually becomes XXXmas, with the relatively mild first half of the film giving way to a very bloody Yuletide, but not to the degree to which one would expect from your regular Artsploitation film.
