What to Expect

Halloween 2 starts similar to how the original Halloween 2 from 1981 started out, with Myers hunting down Laurie in a hospital. It was a great start that perfectly matched the style of the previous Halloween.

Then Laurie woke up. Yep, it was all a dream.

From this point the movie went downhill fast.

The style turned bizarre with a weird dreamlike supernatural element that made no sense. Laurie quickly became seriously unlikable, she basically screamed and cried and screamed and cried and screamed throughout the entire runtime. I'm pretty sure she screamed more than Sally from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Loomis, who was a cool character in the first one, became unlikable as well. He wrote a best-selling book about Myers and turned into a slick obnoxious diva. Hell even Myers was unlikable.
