Thematically speaking, Evil Ed is pretty shallow, but Jacobsson is rightfully aware that he’s preaching to the choir, so at least he’s channeling these juvenile provocations at exactly the right audience.
To put a finer point on it, I thoroughly enjoy consuming motion pictures that highlight the laugh-out-loud humor present in wanton bloodshed and freakish, bodily-related horror.
It’s definitely apparent the person who made this movie loves horror.
