Creature really has a deeper horror element to me, it is very much about the unknown and I loved that element of the movie.
The Creature is the greatest monster of a decade filled with monsters. He outshines his irradiated and overgrown brethren because there was the slightest bit of humanity in him.
More than sixty years on, The Creature From the Black Lagoon continues to entertain and fascinate audiences.
