Critic Reviews:

Children of the Corn hits the ground running with a gruesome slaughter scene initiated by Isaac (John Franklin) within the first five minutes of the movie.

Based on Stephen King’s short story of the same name, “Children Of The Corn” heralded the beginning of Hollywood’s assault on his short story collection.

Children of the Corn is a flawed film, but it does stick with you. It may be riddled with logical inconsistencies, but it still offers deep enough concepts to chew on.
