Critic Reviews:

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero starts strong, treads water for a while, sinks, and then valiantly bobs to the surface in the end (mainly because Astin is back to bookend his role). Definitely worth a peek.

The movie lacks a freewheeling spirit of taking creative risks by putting most of the production on a straight and narrow line. Or rather two lines, since the simultaneous stories feel separate until their climactic intertwining, making for a viewing experience that can feel like flipping between two programs on a TV.

Overall, I found CABIN FEVER: PATIENT ZERO rather boring. It was almost halfway into the film before the predictable ravaging of the unsuspecting tourists began.
