Belzebuth isn’t fooling around when it comes to its horror, and I’m not joking about those dead kids — there are a ton of them here.
To put it simply, Belzebuth just does not let up. It’s devastating throughout, and although the premise may sound exploitative and crass Belzebuth manages never to cross a line to turn the audience against it.
It’s a bloody, harsh and frankly terrifying opening that speaks to the depravity we will see.
