An aspiring stage actress gets the lead role in a much-hyped one-woman stage play. After moving into an apartment complex in Seattle to rehearse, she begins to pattern her performance off of a fragile and oblivious neighbor who, much like the character in the play, is going through a turbulent and abusive relationship with an unfaithful fiancé.
