First Look: The Resort

The Resort is directed by Taylor Chien and stars Bianca Haase, Brock O’Hurn, Michael Vlamis, Michelle Randolph (House Of The Witch) and Joaquin Veizaga.

Four friends head to Hawaii to investigate reports of a haunting at an abandoned resort in hopes of finding the infamous Half-Faced Girl. When they arrive, they soon learn you should be careful what you wish for.

The Resort Reviews

This is found footage cinema for those who can’t stand them or get dizzy. The casting is unreal. I was too fascinated by the mismatched couples and fake friendships to notice how nothing critical happens around the midpoint. The action is postponed so late, in fact, that the script builds nothing but apprehension. It’s a good thing these characters grow on us. Just don’t get too attached. - Tales of Terror
