Vincent Price should be a man who needs no introduction on AllHorror.com. You’ve seen him as everything from the Abominable Dr. Phibes to the Witchfinder General, but have you seen his cultured side? It came out in conjunction one time with the softer side of Sears, that is, the Sears chain of department stores that are currently closing up shop.

Before Sears itself gets lost to the mists of history, take the time to enjoy the Prince of Horror Himself as he guides Sears sales associates through his fine art collection, sold as prints through Sears’ retail chains circa 1962. Price worked as Sears’ main art consultant for a few years, not so much for the paycheck as because he just loved to bring fine art to the common people. You can see his passion for the project in this video, as he rhapsodizes the virtues of Rembrandt, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali.

Who knew this existed? Hey, once you find out he was also a noted gourmet cook who penned several recipe books with his wife, Mary, nothing much surprises you. Not even his parody of his cooking hobby, an audio bit for our BONUS BUCK video titled “How To Cook A Small Boy.”
